Specialised Substitute Residential Care

Live It Up provides Specialised Substitute Residential Care (SSRC) services to deliver safe, supportive, and structured care for children and young people who cannot live with their families. These services are designed to ensure the well-being, safety, and development of children in out-of-home care settings while meeting their individual needs and goals.

SSRC services include:

  • Safe and Supportive Living Environments: Providing stable, nurturing, and child-safe residential care that priorities the safety, comfort, and emotional well-being of children and young people.

  • Individualised Support Plans: Developing tailored support plans that address each child’s unique needs, including health, education, behaviour, and personal development.

  • Life Skills and Developmental Support: Assisting children and young people in building essential life skills, fostering independence, and encouraging participation in educational, recreational, and social activities.

  • Behaviour Support and Well-Being: Implementing positive behaviour strategies, supporting emotional regulation, and addressing the use of restrictive practices where required in line with regulations.

  • Collaboration with Support Networks: Working closely with families, carers, case managers, and other professionals to ensure holistic care and positive outcomes for children.
